ANTENNA 3          INTERACTIVE SOUND SCULPTURE

The third incarnation of this device utilizes a memory system of cassette tape loops, from which the movement of the bamboo wands draws forth sound, sent out variably from six surrounding speakers.  An antenna is a receptive device, an artificial sensory organ for field changes amongst phenomenon outside human perception.    Here shown on exhibition in the Contemporary Art Gallery at the University of Michigan Museum of Art, autumn 1999.
